1. Accountability Freedom Repair Specialists is a division of Rent Report Inc. We are responsible for the personal and financial information in our possession. We have designated our Director of Operations as the Privacy Officer to oversee compliance with the Personal Information Protection Act (Alberta) and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada).
2. Information We Collect We collect only the information necessary to provide our credit education services:
Contact Information: Name, email, and mailing address.
Financial Information: Bank account details (Transit, Institution, and Account Number) for processing your $23 weekly subscription.
Service Data: Information provided during your use of our E-books, templates, and lender-matching tools.
3. Use and Disclosure We use your data strictly to process your Pre-Authorized Debits (PAD), manage your subscription, and provide customer support. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share data with service providers (like payment processors) only to the extent necessary to perform their functions.
4. Withdrawal of Consent You may withdraw your consent for us to use your data at any time. Because your data is necessary to process payments and maintain your account, withdrawing consent will result in the immediate cancellation of your subscription and termination of access to the portal. To withdraw consent, contact our Privacy Officer.
5. Data Retention & Safeguards We retain financial records for seven (7) years as required by Canadian tax law. All sensitive data is protected by 256-bit encryption and restricted access protocols. In the event of a data breach involving a “Real Risk of Significant Harm,” we will notify you without unreasonable delay.
6. Your Rights (Access & Portability) You have the right to access your data and request corrections. Under 2026 “Data Portability” rules, you may also request a copy of your personal data in a structured, technological format.
